Silvia Xalabarde is a certified translator based with many years’ experience working for well-known international companies, including Lush, Amazon, Urban Outfitters, Facebook and many others. She also does legal translation and interpreting work on a regular basis.
Silvia is certified to translate between Spanish and English, as well as from Italian and German into English. She is the current President of STIBC (The Society for Translations and Interpreters in BC) and the editor of the The Voice, their quarterly publication, as well as Co-Chair of the CTTIC Board of Examiners.

Ben is an experienced writer and translator who translates from French, Spanish, and German to English. He translates a broad range of material including legal and financial documents, immigration-related documents, and advertising copy.
He also enjoys translating fiction and has worked on novels and a variety of shorter fiction. Ben writes fiction and creative nonfiction and has been published in a number of magazines including The Walrus, New York Press, and Prairie Fire.
Luciano Magana is a Spanish to English translator and interpreter who grew up in Mexico and Newfoundland. He was certified by the Fesoc Institute in Cancun, where he also attended law school and worked in the federal judicial system for many years.
Luciano’s legal knowledge is extensive and he is also passionate about linguistics.
